Another good work of Delta Groove alternative label, Eclecto Groove, a subsidiary label that, as its name says, goes further up the classic blues to carry out with artists who, based on black music, investigate on more contemporary quite elaborated new sounds Singer, guitar player and song-writer John Black goes into alternative African music fields, combining it with blues, soul, gospel, funk, hip-hop and other spices, which give a magic flavour to a new original and urban concept, specially devoted to a new younger audience with less prejudices and much more receptive to the new musical religion than the habitual blues fans Black preaches, based on very sophisticated ornamented sounds but also with a passionate deep lively feeling In short words, a collection with twelve Afroamerican seminal music, conceived as a strained challenge but, at the same time, a legacy for the future generations who sooner or later will fall in love with this music as we have done and still do, while we remain living in the world
