Wonderful Texas rockabilly blues cd tastefully performed by four effective musicians and good friends, who share the same musical interest for a quite old fashioned music but that still has an stream of fans who deeply worship fifties sound. The Silvertones come from Dallas and they are Randy Ball on drums and vocals, Leo de la Vega on guitar and vocals, Linn Roath on guitar, steel, baritone and slide, and Brian Wicker on bass. They have also included some guest musicians such as Smokin’ Joe Kubek on guitar. In short, an interesting album with an original personal sound completely different to blues cds I have recently heard that I would recommend you without a second thought.
