Corky Siegel on harp, piano and vocals and Jim Schwall on vocals and guitars are a duo of musicians who regularly and with great commitment have been working since middle seventies. Both have a huge creative skill and they can proudly say they are among the few artists who have been doing a non stop work since far off times they began to play. For this cd they have left their flirts with classical and chamber music aside, to get themselves into the most orthodox blues, together with modern well conceived arrangements and a very actual musical development. The cd includes thirteen beautiful songs with a variety of tasteful acoustic and electric cuts perfectly backed by the essential amazing work of Sammy Lay on drums (who also sings in one track) and Rollo Radford on bass, double bass and vocals. It is a splendid album to be often and carefully savoured.
