The Sharpeez is a band formed by tanned well known musicians who share the same musical tastes and a good chemistry among them With this project they have just released, the group tries to emulate some of their musical icons who have more influenced in their musical conception such as Rory Gallagher, Dr Feelgood, The Stranglers, Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, George Thorogood, Paul Kossoff, Paul Rodgers and Andy Fraser This is their fifth album, they have entitled Wild One remembering the legendary Marlon Brandon’s film Wild One, and wild, aggressive and cutting is the band sound and music William Mead is responsible of guitar and vocals, while Loz Netto plays slide guitar with a passionate intensity, Baz Payne controls bass, Brendan O’Neill precisely beats drums and Teresa Revill provides backing vocals when the songs require it In short words, this is a garage rock album with drops of alternative pop and a small touch of blues, as it is performed in actual days
