The Rusties Blues Band comes from Girona. For a good number of years they have been active on the Spanish blues scene. They have released several albums and their enthusiasm to bring the blues to all corners of our country is commendable.

For this last work they have decided to allow themselves a license. Instead to present a list of different songs, they have thought to give an homage to the three “Kings” (Albert King, B.B. King and Freddie King), playing both covers and originals those three guitar ‘kings’ recorded over the years.

The selected songs are well known to all fans. Just mention some ones like “I’m Tore Down”, “Born Under A Sign” or “The Thrill Is Gone”, each one written by one of the Kings, but you will also find versions of other songs that were not written by them but they also recorded them during their careers, like “Caledonia” coming from Louis Jordan, “Every Day I Have The Blues” by Memphis Slim or “Call It Stormy Monday” by T-Bone Walker, to name six of the twelve songs they have included in the album, that serve to give fans an idea of what they are going to find along the recording.

An album displayed with humility and simplicity, with the only aim to become the tribute of these good blues lovers to those three kings who, undoubtedly, have left an unforgettable deep mark in all fans.
