Singer, harmonica player, songwriter and minister of The Universal Life Church, Mr Shawn Amos comes from a musical and religious family, so he has been for quite a long time in the gospel and blues business This cd only includes six songs, so it is more an EP than a complete album All songs were recorded at the legendary Studio D in Los Angeles, California, where also worked there artists like BB King and Eric Clapton In this cd Amos has included Chris Roberts on guitar, Ed Terrio on bass and Don Medina on drumes, with the special collaboration of Anthony Marinelli at Hammond B3 and Gia Ciambotti and Kim Yarbrough on backing vocals All together have done an interesting EP with a well-modulated sound and a more than a good final production In every song Shawn Amos immerses himself in the depths of the music he plays and makes it sound vitalist but, at the same time, full of an intense passion and deep feeling
