Here comes a special and original mixture of contemporary blues with funk, jazz and a lot of groove This London young four musicians band give a new refreshing air to British musical scene, thanks to an actual cool sound, on a eleven song selection with nine own compositions and interesting lyrics that talk about falling in love, lost loves or our most hidden phantoms that keep you awake the whole night, and even such different topics like travels or philosophy You will also find a couple of classic blues, Got My Mojo Workin’ and Hoochie Coochie Man that break the group music schemes but at the same time perfectly fit with the band leader Paul Garner music tastes, an experienced jump and Chicago blues musician who has played guitar and different bands on these styles such as The Cadillac Kings, West Weston’s Bluesonics or Oo-Bop-Sh’Bam among other British bands This time, the four musicians band are Paul Garner on guitar, vocals and song-writing, Claudio Corona on Hammond organ, Jason Ribeiro on drums and John Allan on acoustic bass An interesting cd for the new aspects it brings us that could be qualified with the same name of the record label, that is to say, music with ‘progressive roots’
