German bass player and manager Erkan Özdemir has passed down to his two sons, Kenan Özdemir guitar player and singer and Levent Özdemir drums and singer, his love for music and especially for the blues. Together they form a renowned trio which, besides playing together, are the perfect backing band for artists like Kirk Fletcher, Sugaray Rayford, Trudy Lynn, Mike Morgan, Memo González, Johnny Rawls or Tad Robinson, when they are playing in Europe.

With all the experience gained in all these years, the trio has now released their  first album that includes ten songs, where one is an instrumental track and another one a Kennan’s own composition, showing that, not only they are able to develop the song versions they include in the recording like own ones but also prove they are fantastic blues musicians who tastefully develop other styles like ballads, rock, rhythm & blues, soul or even sophisticated pop, although their bluesy influences become evident along this more than interesting album.

Besides very good instrumentalists, both Kenan and Leven display attractive vocal qualities and an undeniable maturity. The album also includes an effective horn section led by Sax Gordon on tenor and baritone sax with Bira Junior on sax too and Bruno Belasco on trumpet, plus the special collaboration of Simon Oslender on Hammond in five songs, Alberto Marsico on piano in “Simply Beautiful”, Christian Dozzler on piano too in “Midnight Blues”, Trudy Lynn on vocals in “Heap See” and Illaria Audino’s backing vocals.

If in their live concerts The Özdemirs are able to communicate all the strength, knowledge and energy they treasure, with this new album they confirm they are really tasteful and experienced performers who really know what they have in hands.
