This album is dedicated to the memory of the band’s founder Match Hambone Hammond who died about three years ago but who still remains living in the thoughts of the rest of the band In fact there is a song specially dedicated to Mitch, My Best Friend written and sung by bass player Norman Pingrey The cd includes twelve songs, all them Oozie Blues Band original ones, tastefully and cleverly sung by the band musicians All them give a personal performing together with an excellent sound and good guitar solos of guitar players Terry Deroguen and Stephen Guillory who also plays harp in four tracks Why Don’t You Let Me Be, Time Tells, Hide And Seek and My Best Friend, dobro in Lost Generation and organ in Alligators A pleasant relaxing and unpretentious record that will surely make you enjoy with the excellent combination of blues and American Roots Music
