It might seem strange that two styles so different and far away as psychedelia and raw blues may have some elements in common.

This is what happens in this album coming from the band The Old Nº 5 s, where they develop a repertoire of eleven songs showing the influences of the two just mentioned styles, adding an outstanding touch of Californian rock, that drive listeners to a journey to those sounds of the late sixties and early seventies that were cooked at Laurel Canyon area, thanks to the expertise and good work of the musicians who form this group who are Brock Alexander on vocals, guitar and keyboards, Olie Bowden on bass and vocals, Taylor Smith and Howard Mahan on guitars, TJ Erhardt on keyboards and Adam Watson on percussion, drums and vocals.

The eleven album songs are Brock Alexander’s own compositions and, in some of them, he has counted with the collaboration of Adam Watson and Olie Bowden. The result is an album where the arrangements of distorted guitars prevail, also displaying Leslie, fuzz and pedal-board general effects, always with good taste and an undeniable experience, without forgetting to highlight the vocal arrangements which are cleverly harmonized with a perfect tuning.
