Gifted singer, harmonica player and song writer Mike Shannon, previously known as Dan Electro, surprises us with his first cd recorded under his own name (some years ago, when he was still living in Florida and, before he settled in Barcelona, Mike recorded a couple of cds with his own band, Dan Electro & The Silvertones) In What You’re Looking For, Mike gives rein free to his musical ideas, along ten own songs where he tastefully combines pop, rock, blues, country and ‘americana’, cleverly shaken and mixed through his original musical vision which gives as a result a cool well balanced powerful and vitalist record Shannon has gained on cleverness, maturity, good ideas and a very commercial vision of the final result he wants to give us, that is to say, he really knows what he wants to do and how to get it In short, a good performed cd with a fine recording and a good final production The cd includes an original interesting video clip too
