Once again and as they always do, blues brightly prevail without any superfluous concession in the new work of The Midnight Rockets, a band led by one of the blues pioneers in Catalonia, harmonica player and singer Maurici Morera, a musician who started in the music field during the eighties Maurici is an expert in the blues language and he really knows how to give it to different audiences His band is a real machine to make and perform blues, either jump blues, Texas blues, Chicago blues or down-home swamp blues, anyone of these styles have secrets to these musicians who passionately and deeple live the music they play The band musicians are Maurici Morera on diatonic and chromatic harmonicas, Reginald Vilardell on drums, Sergi Escriu on guitar and Xavi ‘Dr’ Curto bass The álbum includes fifteen songs with a total of sixty-six minutes of good music, some songs signed by Escriu and Morera and the rest come from Little Walter, George Smith, Howlin’ Wolf, Pee Wee Crayton or Smiley Lewis among others
