Brothers Lee Denis, Ralph and Melissa Mei McKee have formed a big band, gathering some of the best musicians of Los Angeles and Michigan areas and, in this way, present an attractive album including different own compositions, songs that become real jewels of the new soul, blues, funk, gospel, rock, with some drops of the actual Latin music It is difficult to mention all musicians involved, as they are a good number who, with their undeniable professionalism and musical knowledge, have contributed to round up an album with an amazing exuberant quality and expressive power But it would not be fair not mention some of the most outstanding names, like the three McKee brothers, Lee Denis on guitar, keyboards, bass and vocals, Ralph on bass, vocals, lap steel and baritone guitar and Melissa Mei on vocals and backing vocals, as well as the superb work of Larry McCray on guitar and vocals, Kirk Fletcher on guitar, Lee Thornburg on trumpet, trombone and flugelhorn, Doug Webb on tenor, baritone and soprano sax and keyboard players Jim Alfredson, Bobby West and Duncan McMillan This is a recording that certainly deserves listener attention, as it surely will not disappoint you at all, each time you listen to it, that will be very often
