Mary Jo Curry began her way in musical paths as a classic music singer and pianist, as well as an actress But the true thing is that nine years ago she was caught by the magic of blues One night she was out with a friend when she heard some music coming from a small club and she felt she should come in There Mary Jo met guitar player Michael Rapier, her husband now, so they started to play blues After some time performing as a duo, they added Chris Rogers on bass and Rick Snow on drums, forming the band which has worked up to date with many expectations for a coming future For this second album they have also counted with Brett Donova and Ezra Casey on keyboards and Brain Moore on sax, as well as two deluxe guests like Albert Castiglia and Tom Holland on guitars The album includes nine original band compositions and a song especially written for Mary Jo by Chicago drummer Andrew Blaze Thomas Along the whole album Mary Jo shows she is a singer who does not want to look like any other singer, who also does not want to show off her vocal skills, but only make us feel she is different from anyone we have heard so far
