At the twilight hour that comes before one of those warm summer nights where the clock stops and time seems never end, in one of those nights where you need to drink a bourbon glass and a cold beer to take off the dust of dry rough America out of your throat, this is the precise moment where The Marshals music and songs appear as if time had stopped waiting for them to come This album could have been written and performed from one of those old back porch of Mississippi houses where, letting your imagination run free, you could see Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Fogerty, ZZ Top or even Jimi Hendrix, all them directed by Quentin Tarantino sitting, drinking and playing But what is true is this album was recorded in France and the musicians who have made it possible are Julien Robalo on guitar and vocals, Laurent Siguret on harmonica, Thomas Duchezeau on drums and Mike Chassaing on tambourine and claps The recording gathers eight songs, six Julien Robalo’s own compositions, plus two versions, Folsom Prison Blues coming from Johnny Cash and Rockin’ Daddy by Howlin’ Wolf
