With this fifth and just released recording, this French electric blues band called The Marshals start a new stage and become an interesting value among those French groups which aim to go deep into daring and different sound fields to, in this way, surprise and delight their fans Also they get rid of what they feel superfluous and capture the essential spirit of the new language they want to offer to listeners Thousands of miles away from Delta deep south, The Marshals with Julien Robalo on guitar and vocals, Laurent Siguret on harmonica, Thomas Duchézeau on drums and Fabien Larvaro on different percussions like congas or maracas, know how to capture the rawness and nakedness of that distant land that gave birth to the blues and other popular expressions Eight own compositions plus a version of well-known song Run Through The Jungle coming from John Fogerty, give shape to a rough gritty album but, at the same time, performed with a huge performing strength, aspects that will for sure be properly appreciated by many music followers
