The Maple Blues Band is a ten Canadian musician band which, since 1999, have been the host band at the Maple Blues Awards ceremony. Each of its members has received countless nominations and awards, not only at the Maple Blues Awards but also at the Juno Awards, two of the most distinguished awards given in Canada. Many of the musicians that make up the group have been members of such outstanding groups like Downchild, Fathead, Matchedash Paris or The Skatalites, besides regularly backing big artists like Dawn Tyler Watson, Colin James, Colin Linden, Shakura S’Aida, Duke Robillard, Little Miss Higgins or Harrison Kennedy among many others.

This is an album that gathers ten instrumental songs for the joy and delight of fans, as all them become an explosive and unique bomb able to raise a dead man. The band includes the always charismatic Gary Kendall, tireless musician who is always creating and organizing new projects, and here he is on bass, as well as musical director and band leader, Pat Carey on tenor sax and horn section arranger, Teddy Leonard guitar, Al Lerman harmonica and acoustic guitar, Jim Casson drums and percussion, Howard Moore trumpet, Lance Anderson Hammond B-3, piano and accordion, Alison Young baritone, tenor and soprano sax, Meirion Kelly trombone and Roshane Wright percussion
