Canada has a large pool of blues musicians who bring life to a flourishing scene and musical acts One of these new and original blues bands which gather a wide creativity and solid structural foundations is The Lucas Haneman Express Coming from Ontario, the band has the ability to rejuvenate blues tradition with a refreshing very actual material full of magic and energy, these young musicians bring us with a casual air which makes as a result a really pleasant listening The album includes fourteen songs and these three ones Give Me Life, Lind Man’s Blues and hat’s The Truth were recorded at the legendary Sun Studios in Memphis, Tennessee with a very positive result, so it was worth to spend some dollars to do it, so you have only to listen carefully to them and you will surely realize I am right Lucas Haneman as band leader, singer, guitar player and songwriter, Martin Newman on bass and vocals, Jeff Asselin on drums and percussion and Megan Laurence on vocals and tambourine have counted for the recording the album with the valuable collaboration in some tracks of Steve Marriner on harmonica and Jesse Whiteley on organ and keyboards Good album conceived and recorded with a wide vision concerning to blues displaying and performing
