In these days that many bands and musicians only look for innovation and sophistication in blues music, it becomes a real pleasure to listen to a band like The Little Red Rooster Blues Band which only aim is to pay tribute and homage to the most traditional Chicago and West Coast blues Fortunately for good blues lovers, there are bands like this one which still resist and fight to perpetuate genuine blues without playing versions of old songs but writing their own material, something that is always gratifying With a long career in their shoulders, the band provides joy and fun to the east coast circles and audiences which faithfully follow them and go to their shows This last work truly reflects everything just mentioned and includes fifteen own songs that bring a good dose of real blues, performed with an amazing awing and an overflowing energy The Little Red Rooster Blues Band are Kevin McCann on vocals and guitar, Dave Holtzman on harmonica and vocals, Jeff Michael on bass and Bob Holden on drums They are joined by a couple of deluxe guest musicians las Anthony Geraci of Sugar Ray And The Bluetones on piano in seven songs and Steve Guyger on harmonica and vocals in one track
