After the incredible success of that album which included some of the greatest moments of the many big names who, over the years, have played at Knickerbocker club in the south of New England, now most of those ‘all-stars’ have meet again to record the second part of that superb issue Simply mentioning the names involved would be enough to realize the amazing cd quality: Mark Teixeira on drums, Brad Hallen on bass and double bass, Al Copley on piano, Monster Mike Welch on guitar, Doug James on tenor and baritone sax, Sax Gordon on tenor sax, Rich Lataille on alto sax, Al Basile on cornet, Doc Chanonhouse on trumpet and Carl Querfurth on trombone, plus singers Sugar Ray Norcia, Al Basile, Willie J Laws and Brian Templeton who alternate in different cuts All of them shining stars with a huge experience in bands like The Roomful Of Blues, The Duke Robillard Band or Sugar Ray & The Bluetones A list of songs full of influences of Bobby Blue Bland, Freddie King, Guitar Slim or Eddie Cleanhead Vinson or even some drops of Louis Jordan and Albert King This is a spectacular album, full of strength, energy and large doses of true good blues, which will not leave anyone indifferent
