What in hell do a French guitar player called John Weeks and a Hungarian harmonica and keyboards player named Andras Times in Denver, Colorado? Simply they play blues and have just recorded this small treasure John Weeks Band are a four musicians blues group who know how to give the most appropriate charisma to his music to delight and give pleasure to all fans, both the most traditional and the most actual daring ones The delicious way they perform blues communicates an uncommon intensity, deep feeling and exquisite groove, which naturally flows in tons of swing and real blues I have not heard for a long time Although this is his first work, the band shows a remarkable deep knowledge, a good technique and an impressive stage control, because they remain in the blues orthodoxy but, at the same time, they know how to give an original stamp that makes them different from other actual bands This four musician group includes John Weeks òn guitar and vocals, Andras ‘AC’ Csapo on keyboards, harmonica and vocals, Curtis Hawkins on bass and Tim ‘Chooch’ Molinario on drums They manage to create an elegant very effective climax along the seven cd songs
