Love Mechanic is the last cd from The JC Smith Band It includes various styles ranging from West Coast swing to Chicago blues, back alley, country or funky blues but, over all, is it is a really good album, the music is cheerful, vibrant, funny and cleverly performed All this mixture of styles, together with some restrained and very jumpy & cool arrangements, makes the recording to capture all the magic and vitality that JC Smith and his band communicate when they are on stage The album has the most delightful ingredients to bring happiness and drive listeners to a universe full of delicious tastes that will fill up your party wishes, with a colourful happy music In spite that BB King or The Stones influences are easily seen in their music, JC and his band have created a unique and very special sound that makes them different from other similar groups, because they are a kind of musicians who attract all listeners as if they were magnets Finally mention the band musicians, JC Smith guitar and vocals, Robert Green bass, Abraham Vasquez tenor sax, Donnie Green drums, Tommy Maitland trumpet, Todd Reid keyboards, David Sandez baritone sax and trombone and Gene Renolds trombone and backing vocals This is an excellent album that has won my approval
