From psychedelia environment and endless jam sessions where you could find the most actual underground darks rhythms, The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer set fire to the music scene wherever they go, with their psychedelic anarchic blues, their rock, their imaginative eccentric pop and their powerful dynamic vigorous grooves The band origin can be found in two great musicians and good friends, Shawn Hall on vocals and harmonica and Matthew Rogers on guitar, pedals, effects, bass and synthesizers Now they have incorporated to their musical speech John Raham on drums and percussion, Geoff Hilhorst on organ, piano and wurlitzer and Efran Chávez on congas, plus the amazing collaboration of seven vocals which give strength and consistence with their rich nuances and various harmonies to the songs they perform As the title says, the album gives us an apocalyptic vision but, at the same time, not exempt of beauty of this deranging and contradictory time we are living now
