And now… pure straigth hard rockin’ blues! The Hammers are a perfect band for bars, roadhouses, taverns, fried chicken restaurants, juke-joints… In 1986 the musicians decided to do a group and, since then on, they follow up sweeping along clubs and live music places with their music, made of different influences that come from pure blues to New Orleans rhythm and blues and rockabilly The three musicians really know to give audiences a good dose of adrenaline and an excellent sound too All songs included are singer and guitar player Ira Spinard own ones, except Carl Perkins’ You Can Do No Wrong The other two Hammers band musicians are Dominick Zorrillo on bass and Bob Masucci on drums There are also piano and a horn section as guest musicians On their live shows, The Hammers usually include some covers of their most beloved idols, like Chuck Berry, Big Joe Turner and Jerry Lee Lewis and they even play Elmore James’ Somethin’ Inside Of Me on a closer version to the Fleetwood Mac one If someday you go to New Jersey area and you see them announced, do not hesitate and go to see them live
