The Halley DeVestern Band is a blues, funk and rock group coming from the city of New York which combines in equal parts acoustic and electric performances To make themselves well known to general audiences and international media, they have just published a small album with five songs, four of them written by Halley DeVestern and the fifth one coming from the whole group, that fully represent what they perform in their live shows Band leader and singer Halley DeVestern belonged to Janis Joplin’s Big Brother And The Holding Company The other musicians who surround her are David Patterson on guitar, Steve Javas on keyboards, guitars and backing vocals, Tom Heinig on bass and Rich Kulsar on drums With this small selection of songs, Halley proves she is a passionate emotional singer who delivers to work with and an amazing intensity and honesty, always surrounded by really creative devoted musicians, able on using their music tools
