Deeply rooted in the music that was born in southern USA churches and the deep and most passionate blues, the young Cantabrian band The Four Breakers go a step further as they add soul, funk and rhythm & blues into their repertoire, all spiced with some rock details.

James Brown said that the only thing that can solve our problems is dancing, singing and be carried away by music. This is The Four Breakers’ proposal, an invitation to go with them on a journey to enjoy a festive catching music, because they have certainly learned how to assimilate and communicate all the energy that Afro-American music gives out.

Recorded at the Moon River studios in Santander, the album presents eleven carefully selected songs, produced with a surprising maturity in such young musicians like The Four Breakers members who are Itz Jones on vocals, displayed with really black inflections, Diego “One” Arce on guitar, Nacho Vallejo on bass and Rodri Irizábal on drums.

If you like the indie music that drinks from the different sources of American styles, even with influences of late sixties psychedelia, then be sure this band will not disappoint you.
