The blues The Forty Nighters have prepared for this album is a mixture of multiple stylistic performing facets and aspects they do in live performances, which have marked their music career so far The album includes thirteen blues, some own ones and other coming from Slim Harpo, Sonny Boy Williamson I, Little Walter, Muddy Waters, Big Bill Broonzy and Arthur Crudup This band comes from Madrid and now they have gone a step beyond, because they do not limit themselves to copy Chicago blues sound, they have got a very particular pleasant music concept, which makes them appear as a really original group with a remarkable own personality The band includes Eric Dominguez drums, Alvaro Leal, guitar and voice, Chema Contreras bass, Francisco Javier Gonzalo guitar and Héctor Martinez harmonica and kazoo The Forty Nighters show here they can play different kinds of blues but, at the same time, be both schematic and straightforward musicians
