If in the previous review I mentioned everything was already said about Sugar Ray & The Bluetones, this time few thinks can also be said about The Fabulous Thunderbirds, probably the band that best mixes blues with pop and soul You only need to read the names of the musicians who form the new Thunderbirds, who are Kim Wilson on harmonica and vocals, Johnny Moeller on guitars, Kevin Anker on keyboards, Steve Gomes on bass and Robb Stupka on drums, to realize this album will not disappoint any listener but, if this was not enough, the recording includes an excellent horn section and the special collaboration of some guest musicians in some cuts like guitar player Anson Funderburgh The album does not have any bad single note on it, the most actual soul and blues combine with very good taste and an effective skill, creating some strong grooves and a terrific wrapping swing, where the technique and mastery of all the soloists shine at a very high level, relying on a greasy rhythm engine This is an album especially devoted to funk, soul, pop, groove and blues lovers, but also to all black music followers
