The Dig 3 is a down home blues trio which sometimes also perform a variety of west coast blues that may remind James Harman’s style. They are Andrew Duncanson (Kilborn Alley Blues Band) on vocals and guitar, Ronnie Shellist on harmonica and multi-instrumentalist Gerry Hundt (Nick Moss) foot drums, percussion, six-string bass, guitar, harmonica and mandolin. Together, they play a deep genuine blues with a terrific feeling and a totally effective, vibrant and infectious groove, developed with originality, good taste and reliability, as few groups are now able to play.

Eleven wonderful songs plus three ‘bonus tracks’ give shape to a perfect vintage blues album, especially devoted to those of you who feel tired and bored of listening to the same rock-blues with endless solos where guitar players just want to show they are the fastest ones, sung with high shrill voices that always follow the same clichés. Here, the three musicians put all their knowledge, cleverness and attack to the service of the music they perform, without individualistic selfishness, listening to each other in order to give the best of themselves, so the result becomes a real party and an unforgettable session of REAL blues.
