We have received as a demo the last piece of work of singer and guitar player John ‘Scooch’ Cugno with fifteen excellent songs all them inspired in the music known as Americana Obviously blues influences are present in almost all tunes which are Cugno’s own compositions, except some well-known covers like Albert King’s As The Years Go Passing By’, Robert Johnson’s Walkin’ blues or RL Burnside’s version of Catfish blues Arrangements have been carefully chosen in all Cugno’s own tunes Different special instruments like flute, conga or clarinet add a touch of elegant touch of tasteful sensibility to produce a high musical creativity and expression All musicians do a very professional performing which, together with John’s playing, give as a result a honest well built album
