This is a completely different album from those that are usually published in blues records catalogs An unclassifiable and unpredictable work, but where blues is always present and can continuously be found in this original work The idea came from the musicians and producers Laust Krudtmejer Nielsen and Peter Nande and it was to select material from some of the most genuine blues and then turning them upside down by using the studio techniques that can now be found in recording styles like hip-hop, reggae or disco music, employing samples, loops, beats… and so on Besides, in each song they also involved a prestigious musician such as Big Creek Slim, Sahra Da Silva, James Harman, Big Joe Louis, Richard Farrell, Troels Jensen and Mud Morganfield Despite the originality displayed by every artist participating in the project, the blues is recognizable and can be easily found in every song included, rounding up a pleasant and reliable surprise for all listeners, who will be able to listen to songs like Rollin’ And Tumblin’, Kokomo Blue or Mannish Boy in a new version completely different from the ones they know so far
