For piano and especially actual boogie-woogie lovers, The Boogie Boys is an essential band to be taken into account. They come from Poland and nowadays they are one of the most appreciated groups in Europe. They have been booked in countless festivals where they always present a lively and energetic show. Finalists at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, the band brings tons of fun, endless energy and an undeniable quality.

This last recording gathers eleven songs framed in the most exciting boogie-woogie with a touch of rock ‘n’ roll and jump blues although they have also included a couple of ballads, which will immediately catch listeners who will not be able to remain sitting, making them dancing all night long, as all the songs have an infectious rhythm.

Led by the fantastic instrumentalist and showman Bart Szopinski on vocals, piano and Hammond, the band includes Piotr Bienkiewocz on guitar, who also is another great instrumentalist and showman, Michal Cholewinski on a second piano, Janusz Brzezinski on bass and double bass and Milosz Szulkowski on drums. In the album you will also find a greasy horn section, The RetroFunk Horns, including saxes, trumpet and trombone, which enhance all the record songs strength and punch.

As a curiosity mention the promotional video and the album cover photos have been done at the Aeronautical Museum of Málaga and in Estepona in the south of Spain.

Undoubtedly The Boogie Boys is one of the great bands of the actual European scene and this album really proves it.
