To celebrate their twenty-five years of career, The Boneshakers publish this new album where they come back to their roots, which was the sound developed in their first album entitled “Book Of Spells”. To do so, they have recruited again John Wooler, who produced that first recording and has also produced different albums of singers and blues guitar players like Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter or Robben Ford.

Although the sound is close to that first recording, The Boneshakers have welcomed a new singer, Jenny Langer, who, together with guitar player Randy Jacobs, lead the group with extreme reliability. They have also counted with an exceptional group of guests like Jon Gilutin on keyboards (Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Bonnie Raitt), the horn section The Texacali Horns, Coco Montoya on guitar, Nathan Brown on bass (Coco Montoya), Sergio Gonzales on drums (Keb Mo, Don Was) and the vocal harmonies by Bernard Fowler and Sir Harry Bowens.

Ten songs, some of them coming from artists like Bob Dylan, the Stones, Steven Van Zandt or Randy Jacobs among others, become a good example of this able band magnificent sound, firmly based on the structures of Americana music and contemporary blues.
