The Blues Rebels are well known along Israel blues scene An improvised friendly jam in 2012 opened the connection between two veterans blues musicians, guitarist Andy Watts and singer and harmonica player Dov Hammer, this last one had already played with artists like Zora Young, Deitra Farr, Billy Branch or Paul DeLay among others After that jam Andy Watts and Dov Hammer became close friends and decided to form a band Since then on, they have not stopped to play along Israel blues and rock circuits and have also backed musicians like Joe Louis Walker, Lucky Peterson or Bernard Allison In 2015 they published their first album which received good reviews from specialized media and now they have come back to a recording studio, this time together with Joe Louis Walker, who travelled to Israel to produce and play in some of the album tunes The Blues Rebels line-up includes Dov Hammer on harmonica and vocals, Andy Watts on guitar, Amos Springer on bass and Avi Barak on drums and percussion The record has as guest musicians the already mentioned Joe Louis Walker on acoustic an electric guitars and vocals and Kill Ashkenazy on keyboards
