For more than ten years The Blues Overdrive have been working together, playing all over Denmark and other Baltic countries, always getting a great success among specialized media and audiences. The Blues Overdrive has reached a widely recognized status and good reputation as a good contemporaty blues band. They write their own material but the way they have to reinvent the classics, always doing a respectful performing, makes them be a worshipped group among his fans. This is the debut album of this Danish band, where all songs have been written by singer and guitar player Martin Olsen, except “Got Myself A Woman” written by JJ Cale during the 70’s, where The Blues Overdrive want to pay tribute to the American roots blues. The band includes Martin Olsen guitar and vocals, Andreas Andersen guitar, Thomas Birck bass and Lars Heiberg drums and percussion. Most of the songs have great twist and rhythm, except, of course, the slow ones.
