The Blue Vooddo are a Canadian trio with Ted Tosoff on vocals and guitar, Rick Dalgamo on vocals and guitar and Chris Weekes on vocals and percussion They have chosen a very original own peculiar repertoire, quite different from the music that blues bands normally include on their cds Blue Voodoo gather influences from such different artists and bands like Beatles, Robert Johnson, Ben Harper, Charley Patton or Dave Matthews and even one can also find Muddy Waters’ spirit along the whole cd Vocal arrangements and acoustic guitars give a perfect combination which together with some other different instuments like violin and harmonica, together with some slide and dobro touches, give a personal original vision of the music the trio performs It is a new different Vancouver coming musical proposal we greatly welcome
