There has recently been published an album blues fans really wanted to have on hands and listen to it It is Fun On Saturday Night by the legendary group The Blasters, one of the most reputed bands in Southern California For more than thirty years this band has been working hard all over United States Some of their albums like Non Fiction, The Blasters and Hard Line already belong to the history of 80’s blues-rock The Blasters have gained a very good reputation thanks to the splendid way they passionately mix styles ranging from Delta blues to Chicago blues, New Orleans rhythm & blues, western swing in the path of Milton Brown and Bob Wills, tex-mex or Memphis rock ‘n’ roll with Jerry Lee Lewis influences An excellent album where The Blasters have included twelve small treasures performed with the strength and the usual restrained rage of the band musicians who are Phil Alven guitar, piano, harmonica and vocals, Keith Wyaat guitar, John Bazz bass and backing vocals and Bill Bateman drums, together with special guests like Kid Ramos
