Led by the good hands of Reverend Igor (The Reverendos), The Big Flyers present a new recording with a good dose of fun and good vibes, with music mainly inspired by 50’s rock & roll, rhythm and blues and jump blues.

To do so, the band has deeply dived into the sound of all those musicians who, starting from blues, gave a twist to it by amplifying instruments and turning it to what is known as rockabilly or rock & roll, they develop with respect, admiration coolness, joy, vitality and an undeniable knowledge.

The recording becomes a good example of the music The Big Flyers plays, as it includes an excellent selection of eight songs, two of them the band’s own compositions, another two coming from The Reverends’ repertoire and the rest versions of the songs “Brenda Lee” by Chuck Berry, “Don’t You Be Angry” by Nappy Brown and “One More Time” by Ike Turner, all them performed with a faithful respect for the sources, although they also give their special cool touch to each song.

Reverend Igor on piano and vocals, Alvaro “King” Martínez on guitar and vocals, Pedro Larrauri on double bass and vocals and Javi Caballero on drums and vocals form a totally teamed group, which perfectly know the style they play, so the final result is a highly recommended album, not only for lovers of the aforementioned styles but also for those who want to enjoy and dance with their music.

Finally, you will also find the special collaboration of Willy “Mister” on sax in two songs and Javier Zaitegui on backing vocals in one cut.
