With this third studio album, Betty Fox widely shows she has reached a complete maturity as artist and singer Her voice has expanded and grown in intensity, strength and vocal range compared with her two previous recordings which already let us see her potential Her undeniable quality allows her to comfortably approach with self-assurance and reliability to a repertoire firmly anchored in gospel and soul Thirteen own compositions and a spiritual song round up this interesting album, where Betty walks in a fascinating way along the just mentioned styles Recorded at the famous renowned FAME studios in Muscle Shoals, Betty is efficiently backed by a set of instrumentalists, including well-known names for all good soul fans, like keyboard players Spooner Oldham and Clayton Ivey, guitar player Josh Nelms, sax player Brad Guin or trumpet player Ken Watters Despite her youth age, once again Betty confirms her amazing resources as singer, which has led her to be often compared to Beth Hart, Etta James or Marion James I am sure Betty Fox will be a nice discovery for most of my readers
