The Beat Daddys is a duo formed by Larry Grisham and Tommy Stillwell For almost thirty years they have worked together to give the most genuine American roots music to wide international audiences Thanks to their huge experience on stage, they got the semi-finals at 2015 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, which every year is organized by The Blues Foundation to give visibility, international interest and relevance to bands, duos and solo artists coming from all over the world The Big Daddys roots come from Kentucky area and in this album they have cleverly combined blues, rhythm and Americana music To round up this excellent album, both players are surrounded by a handful of guest musicians who become a precise engine to give strength, passion and expressiveness to the eleven tracks included in this really fascinating and attractive record, all them composed by the duo with the exception of the opening song These Chains signed by Maxwell Russell The Beat Daddys sound different and very teamed, thanks to their huge artistic creativity, which makes me dare say this album will not disappoint anyone who listens to it
