The Agnostics are not an usual blues band, that is to say, they are not the typical blues band we are accostumed to. The Agnostics have an original own sound that makes them different, together with a cool peaceful style and a particular instrumentation. Their dark dashing medieval blues but, at the same time, very emotional and communicative, surrounds listeners and drives them to a catatonic mystic situation. This Canadian band keep Delta blues roots in their music together with the poetic and lyric influences of great artists like Tom Waits or Captain Beefheart and the blues old flavour of Son House, Skip James, Buka White or Reverend Gary Davis, The Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir preach their music with passion and feeling and a deep communion with the audience thanks to the flow of their personal blues conception. Do not look for commercial music on these musicians performing, only enjoy peace and calmness they give us through the original acoustic blues vision.
