With fifteen years now in the national rock and blues scene, Texas Resaca Blues have just released a new album where they focus their music to a more rocky, powerful and raw style than in their previous ones, where they paid homage to Louisiana or Texas blues. The band was founded by guitar player Antonio Oliva, now settled in Salamanca, and today the group includes Alberto García on bass, Javier Romero on drums and Antonio Oliva on guitars and vocals. This new album features seven own compositions, all sung in Spanish where, as it was just mentioned, they have moved to a more powerful strong rocky sound. The album was recorded at Arcane Planet studios in Salamanca with the aim to deliver the strength of their live shows, leaving aside all the fantasy that recording studios put today to musicians disposal. If you like rock with touches of people like Los Rebeldes, Obús, Leño, Loquillo and even La Orquesta Mondragón, then this album will turn you on.
