If you like ‘honker style’ sax players, you will certainly love Terry Hank, who will make you enjoy with the powerful swingin’ and tasteful performing only great ‘blowers’ have. You will find on “Night Train” the kind of music you deeply love, such as Chicago blues, r&b, soul groove, juicy swamp, pop, honky swing, steamy roll ballads and many other musical things that will impress you. Terry is backed by some high quality musicians, such as Chris ‘Kid’ Anderson on guitar, Butch Cousins on drums, Michael ‘Fly’ Brooks on bass, great Sid Morris on piano (who played with Sista Monica) and amazing Jimmy Pugh on Hammond B 3 (who also played with Robert Cray or Tommy Castro among others). A perfect record for general music lovers but especially for all tenor sax fans.
