From Washington, DC comes out a powerful good singer and guitar player called Terence McArdie who properly knows how to pull the strings of blues with a lot of feeling As other great names of Washington area like Jimmy Thackery or Bobby Radccliff, Terence is gradually getting a place among the new blues heroes of that state The cd perfectly reflects Terence McArdie emerging quality which, with a good backing piano, horns, bass and drums section, shows his musical talent along the whole cd Fourteen songs covering from Rosco Gordon to John Lee ‘Sonny Bly’ Williamson, Tampa Red or Roy Milton amon other great blues and r&b names, plus two or three Terence own compositions, give as a result an excellent album that will satisfy all the expectations of fourties and fifties urban r&b style lovers
