This cd gives us the opportunity to enjoy a sweet but at the same time brave singer called Teeny Tucker, daughter of bluesman Tommy Tucker who usually played during the sixties at New York area, got a great succes with his song Hi-Heel Sneakers and unfortunately passed away in 1982 due a food poisoning In this cd Teeny gives us a good bunch of songs, covering from sweet-soul to suggestive r&b, deep-blues or aggressive rocket tunes The cd was recorded in Austin, Texas and Teeny was backed by excellent musicians like Sean Carney on guitar John Popovich om keyboards, Bill Cory on bass and Dave West on drums together with other guest musicians like Nick Curran on guitar and Mark ‘Kaz’ Kazanoff’s Texas Horns The final result is a good high voltage cd specially recommended to refined and tasteful blues lovers
