Tandori LeNoir is an Spanish band settled in Barcelona The group is led by tenor sax and harp player Dani Nello and they play a jump, west coast, r&b and swing style deeply connected with the fifties tradition Their well defined solid style is present along the whole instrumental cd, because the band does not have a singer and, basically, this is the only thing missing The band includes two saxos, piano, guitar, acoustic bass and drums and their repertoire is done with songs by Louis Jordan, Louis Prima, Joe Liggins or Lloyd Glen among other fifties great musicians They present some own compositions too they perfectly adapt to that musical period Fifteen interesting songs, with good arrangements that will satisfy a wide audience Only as a curious thing mention that guitar player Amadeu Casas and piano player August Tharrats were former members of my band Harmonica Zumel Blues Band between 1987 and 1990 before I retired myself from live music
