Rock, r&b and specially country come together in these three cds that give us a refreshing danceable and joyful bunch of tunes Taboo Blue was founded some years ago by singer and guitar player Leon Laudenbach who does not hide his passion for Dire Straits, Bod Dylan and Rolling Stones’ music This does not mean the band does not look for its own style and sound, apart from those great influences And this research is now giving its results because Taboo Blue are now reaching their own personality, thanks to Chris Schuette’s honky-tonk piano sound that, together with Mark Anderson’s on tenor sax and harmonica, give them a particular sound completely different from other Cold Wind label artists The second cd Baby In The Bottom is better and more mature than the first one, so you will realize the band is getting his personal own sound that reached the peak on the third cd where they have already got a very high level Now we can talk of a solid well-structured band, with a personal different original sound and an extreme vitality
