Sugar Ray comes again with thirteen songs full of the best and sweetest blues he normally plays with The Bluetones, The Roomful or Ronnie Earl Some of the musicians that never miss on his recordings also are his best friends, as Michael ‘Mudcat’ Ward on bass, Neil Gouvin on drums or Kid Bangham on guitar Sugar’s tenor voice perfectly fits in all recordings he does and his ‘roaring’ harmonica is in the foreground on the songs he plays it Personally speaking I think that on this cd the ‘blows’ less than I would have liked and probably this is the reason why I have really appreciated his harp playing
