Once again Sugar Blue goes up into new musical territories with the purpose to combine and experiment original particular sounds, starting from blues as main basis and gradually adding rap, rock ‘n’ roll, jazz, reggae, roots, Americana, world music and even some classic music patterns The result is a cd with a daring investigation that follows the path of the previous releases he has done during the last years Sugar Blue is a singer and harmonica player with a huge experience and great prestige among aficionados and specialised media He became really well known after his collaboration in Rolling Stones’ album Some Girls that gave him more popularity than his work as member of Willie Dixon Blues All Stars, quite a long time ago The cd includes eleven good songs and, among the list of musicians who have been invited to collaborate on it, only mention Rico McFarland as lead guitar and Noel Neal on bass in a couple of songs (do you remember Raful Neal’s son and Kenny Neal’s brother, with Buddy Guy and Junior Wells in the middle of the eighties?)
