If I am not wrong, this is their third album for Blues Leaf label and I dare say it is the best one Different tempos and rhythms perfectly combine to produce an interesting juicy record where the leader of the band, Stringbean, is really inspired on vocals and harmonica playing There do not either get left behind guitar player Sonny Kenn who does cool guitar phrasing in songs like See Me Laughin’ and a tasteful slide working or Pepper Shack, an hypnotic loud blues where Stringbean harmonica playing and Sonny’s guitar perfectly match You will also find a rhythm section with David Meyers on bass and Vic Bayers on drums Both do an excellent playing to make the band walk with clockwork precision The result is a bright album to enjoy again and again
